- Capacity building is one of the glaring parameter in building the performance of faculty/staff. It encompasses the cognitive, affective and psychomotor development of an individual, exposing the new avenues of methods, skills, resource management and utilization of modern devices. Realizing the immediate need of capacity building of staff of 355 institutions all over the country, FGEI Directorate has planned its training schedule 2017, so that performance in academics and co-curricular activities is further enhanced. Prior to this, training was only being arranged during summer vacation, now it has been made a continuous feature almost throughout the academic year.
- To keep the standard aligned and above with the Public Sector competitors and to get unsurpassable position, it is need of the hour to train the human resource of FGEIs on the modern lines and exercise strong monitoring system. By the grace of Allah Almighty, a comprehensive programme has been planned to raise the performance of FGEIs (C/G) faculty and staff. Training of faculty, staff and Heads of institutions will result into the overall development of institutions. FGEIs are blessed with potential staff / faculty who have shown outstanding performance in academic in co-curricular activities.
- IGT & E & DG HRD earnestly desires the professional training of the faculty/staff as well as academic monitoring and evaluation in the FGEIs be given high priority. In order to establish a professional development system Trg, Monitoring & Eval Br have been set up at the Directorate level and its sections have been created in the Regional Offices. It is prime duty of the Branch to conduct, monitor and evaluate the training plan according to set objectives. This training course is one of the major steps towards performance development of faculty. I hope the system of training and monitoring will bear the fruit with collective efforts of all Regions.
